Tristan was born as a human in 1900. In 1930, he was attacked while working on the docks in an Oregon coastal town and was turned into a vampire. For most of the last fifty years he was one of the most notorious and evil vampires that ever walked in the night. Then, in the early 1980's, something happened that created a duality within his demon body. Now his existence is a constant struggle for redemption versus evil. He is not always what he seems, and his nightly battles against himself are not always won. When trying to be a hero, he often fails.
